Social Media
Blog
Lindley thought a blog would be a beneficial tool for Rally Fondation for Childhood Cancer Research. Many families that have a child with cancer use a blogging site, like Caringbridge.org, to update their family and friends during the child's critical illness, treatment and recovery. Family members and friends are able to leave messages in support of the child and prayers for the family on Caringbridge sites. Lindley thought that if Rally Foundation had a blog, families would follow Rally and see what the organization is doing to help them and other families who are fighting childhood cancer. The blog could introduce followers to other Rally families, advertise for Rally's various programs, events and volunteer opportunities, and establish an even greater support system for families battling cancer. Lindley worked closely with Rally's CEO and community development manager to create and develop the following Rally Founadtion blog:
Lindley has used Facebook to reach target audiences for Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research and the Grady Student Society. She has maintained a Grady Student Society group and 24 Hour Media Marathon event page. Lindley also worked hard to recruit 60 members to Rally Foundation's Facebook cause.

Lindley's favorite social media site is Twitter. She has worked hard to establish a Twitter presence for both Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research, @RallyFoundation, and the Grady Student Society, @thegss. She designed Rally's Twitter background that lists all of the organization's social outlets, and she offers support and Twitter guidance for Rally's tweeting staff. Lindley is a contributing tweeter on the Grady Student Society account and was responsible for the Society's live tweets during #24HrMediaMarathon and #Tech4Turn.
YouTube
Lindley and her Creative Consultants team have created a Grady Student Society YouTube channel that will be used to broadcast the Society's various programs, events and seminars, the viral video competition winners, etc. The YouTube channel allows prospective students to learn more about Grady College, Grady grads to see what's going on at their alma mater, and current Grady students, faculty and staff to view programs they may have missed.
Flickr
Lindley has helped Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research maintain its Flickr account by taking photographs at Rally events, uploading the pictures to the Web and labeling all of the pictures. Flickr enables Rally families, volunteers, supporters and donors to see the work that Rally Foundation is doing across the country!
